Does yoga need to be promoted?
It goes without saying that Yoga and its benefits do not need any emphasis as the western world was already made aware of its benefits first by Swami Vivekanand in late 19th century and early 20th century. This set of ancient Indian practices and disciplines again caught the fancy of the western world during 1970s and 1980s in various forms, especially physical exercises which keep you fit and healthy. However, It will not be out of context to say that Yoga is not just a set of Asanas, postures and physical exercises, but a lot more than those. Yoga helps you connect with the almighty and discover your real potential by creating a perfect harmony between your mind and body. It all depends upon how willing and dedicated you are to benefit from Yoga’s unlimited power.
