While the medical world is struggling to find a vaccine for deadly Coronavirus, Baba Ramdev seems to have found a cure for Covid-19,which has affected more than 9 million people across the world till date. Coronil Kit Ingredients
Baba Ramdev told the media that Coronil is made of a powerful of combination of Giloy, Tulsi and Ashwagandha in addition to many other Ayurvedic herbs. These are highly effective in boosting a person’s immunity, but are they really effective in curing COVID-19 cases. Lets take a look at facts first.
Clinical Trials- Were they successful?
Baba Ramdev claimed that Coronil and its efficacy were tested on Corona patients and they were all successful, which means 100% recovery. It was told to the media that 285 tests were conducted and 69% of them recovered within 3-4 days and others recovered within 7-10 day. However, the question is how severe was the condition of those patients.
“The mean age of patients was 35-45 — mainly young, and they all were either asymptomatic or had mild symptoms,” Dr G. Devpura, principal investigator of Coronil’s clinical trials, told The Print
As no further details were shared, Ministry of AYUSH has asked Patanjali to produce the exact details of those scientific studies before advertising it as a potential cure for Coronavirus or COVID-19 patients.

Covid 19 Not Mentioned In License Application
When the licensing authority of Uttrakhand were contacted, it was found that Covid 19 was not mentioned in the license application by Patanjali as per Hindustan Times. Here is what the licencing officer said.
“As per Patanjali’s application, we issued them a license. They didn’t mention coronavirus. We only approved the license for immunity booster, cough and fever,” He further added that they would issue a notice asking for explanation as to how they got permission to make a kit to cure Covid-19.

Coronil News Update-1 July 2020
According the the latest news, Baba Ramdev clarified at a press conference that AYUSH ministry confirmed that Patanjali worked for COVID management. The word treatment was not used. He also clarified that no metallic item has been used in Coronil.
